What You Will Learn in ROSe’s Online Medical Transcription Courses:

• Your transcription courses will focus on medical language, including the Greek and Latin roots of medical terms.
• You’ll develop a working knowledge of medical practices, too.
• This can include anatomy and physiology, diseases, pharmacology, and lab work.

You will need to understand medical documents like patient histories, examination records, consultations, and discharge papers. In order to produce official medical records, you’ll have to understand medical law as well. Develop your computer skills, too. Your medical transcription courses should prepare you to take the Certified Medical Transcriptionist exam.
